I just bought a 90% (plus) complete RS as a parts bike. Low miles, too. Apparently it had a low side slide on the left... road rash on the tupperware, no mirror/front turn signal or rear turn signal. No paniers, so the left side one (and sadly the riders leg ) may have prevented even worse damage. Footpegs look fine, so it could not have been too bad. Looks like it may have been sitting around in a garage ever since.
Unfortunately, bubba got a hold of it somewhere, and started taking all the tupperware parts and pieces off. Before he could do too much damage to it, he found a cruiser he wants to cut up, and sold me this to fund that. I don't think anybody will miss one more ricer cruiser turned into a ... well, whatever.
 The only bracketry that seems to be missing is the subframe to hold the belly pan / chin spoiler. Anybody have dimensions / pictures of that? Or a source for a dirt cheap one for sale? Even a damaged on would suit me fine, and all the parts will be going on an old 1988 K75. Time to assemble a frankin' bike. . Para-lever rear / wide radial / dual pot floating disc front K740RS...
It is also missing the side (battery) covers, but I may stay with the old style there. Don'no.

Now that I have gotten the picture thing worked out...

The picture from ad, showing the only part of faring still on the bike. And I did find the mirror / front turn signal in the tail under the seat, although in rough shape. I dont think he knew there was a storage spot there.

The "good side"... at least not all scratched up - should assemble ok, and paint will clean up ok.

... and then the side that has some road rash. All the parts are just sitting loosely in place. Mounting locations look ok; just whatever it takes to cover the bad spots for paint.
Tank paint is ok, but lower left seam leakes, and the jack leg repair leaks as well.

Thanks for that link. I had not thought to look there, and that got me looking at some other questions. My google fu was ok enough to answer most of 'em, so I did not need to repeat so many here.

I have a complete K1100RS fairing set up from a 1993 K1100RS in that same colour, also a complete K11RS fairing in black/silver. They are in various boxes, stacked on my garage shelves and out in the backyard shed. The black/silver fairing is earmarked for my '96 which is on the workstand now. The mystic red fairing was going to go home to OZ with me when the borders open. Fortress Australia may be just that for a while yet so maybe this winter I will have a good squiz, see what's there, gather up the bits and see if you're still looking...
