Started out with a well worn RS Turbo. Since it was far from standard to begin with I wanted a fun and unusual sport bike with about 150hp. It is capable of 185hp but the engine has 60K mileage on it so don't want to push it. Put a ZZR1400 seat on it, a Honda CBR front end and K1200 rear wheel to get the 17" tyres. I cut down the K100RS fairing, next are the BSK rearsets and an open Akrapovic pipe. It is coming together. The front rim is fine, just peeling.

I'm new around here and it'll be fun following along as you post. 150HP! What a beast...

I have been sending a few updates to the turbo facebook page but will keep them here too.
Modified the RS fairing to a smaller 80's superbike look. Mirrors removed and holes filled, getting ready for paint.
Both wheels have been refinished and brakes rebuilt. New rear shock fitted but still looking for the right exhaust that will look good. Rear sets from BSK are great and just need to fabricate a mount for the rear brake light switch. These are off their racing bikes so no brake light needed. Its moving along, will keep you updated.
