Dudes & Dudettes,
File under daydreaming on a slow day at work. Who's sick of being stuck in their locale, confined to a local sort of cage, an imaginary circle you can never stray too far from home in, but are yearning to breath and hit the open road again, once these wars are over!?

How abouts we make some sorta loose outline of a plan to do a K Bike Forum meet up at some time in the not-too-distant future after everyone's been inoculated, aeroplanes are flying again, borders are open, along with restaurants, campgrounds, hotels & etc.

For those in North America, perhaps a semi mid-continent spot in the Rockies of Colorado, Utah, northern New Mexico or even Wyoming so folks can get their ya-yas out making their way there from wherever is called home, then enjoying the many serpentine roads in the mountains. June through September in the Rockies can be sublime.

Just putting it out there. It could be a while yet, but...

We were planning a Kuruah River rally NSW run and and a visit to the Nabiac motorcycle museum NSW. It's no longer possible as the borders have been partially closed and the rally numbers restricted. Next meet up now planned to be the Kane Toad Rally in April at Mt Perry Qld. We might have to plan something else in the meantime.
Regards Martin.

That is a wonderful dream that I'm sure many find appealing.  As winter wears on, interest will grow.  Here are my thoughts.  Why not take advantage of the MOA rally in Great Falls, Montana in June to make that a destination? For many years, the Airheads have established a special presence at rallies, both national and regional.  Surly there is enough interest among fans of the mighty (and under-appreciated) K-bikes to do something similar. The MOA's Montana rally site is very attractive due to it's location close to Yellowstone and the Rocky Mountains in general.  It will also appeal to our Canadian friends, being near the border.  I'd love the chance to put a face to some of the posts we see here on this forum.

Sounds like a stellar plan and I would love to be part of this, if a sh!t ton of possibilities line up for us.  My 2021 riding year has a lot to make up for after an entirely dismal 2020.

You folks pick the date, place, and time and I will pick the bike to ride!

Yes, I like the idea.
