Yeah ReneZ...keen to get down across the border too..Really enjoyed the run around Tenterfield and New England with Charlie on the Cane Toad rally....Hopefully in the New Year.

Perhaps an informal version of the Northern Tablelands Run usually run around the end of November.  I need to drop some stuff off at Herr Schoorn's Haus sometime.  

It would be good to catch up Rene, considering all your travels have eventually landed you on Oz.

The Nabiac motorbike museum is an excellent place to stop. It's just along the Pacific Highway about 20 K south of Taree. Not a lot of dosh to get in and a lot of bikes to have a squiz at. Man, I'm missing home. I watched a pretty crappy movie called Shame last night on Fletnix from about '87 about a woman riding a Katana solo through the countryside who has a prang and stops in a town to fix the moto. She encounters all manner of typical idiots as well as some lovely townsfolk - turns out the main character is Hugh Jackman's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, looking fine as a red head in her prime. The familiar scenery took me straight back to places I've travelled through in OZ. Going barking mad here in Covid country with no idea when I'll get back thataway. 

Nabiac Motorcycle Museum

I've done Nabiac a  couple of times, Mick and I started looking into it a three day run. First day run to 2-3 three hours short of Nabiac. Next day getting to the museum in time for opening leave for home 1300-1400 stop for the night 1600-1700. Then next day a run for home.

If I can sneak the 84 model on the road by then I might tag along to the KRR. Haven't been there for a few years now.

needless to say , if the crew is down this way , there is a back yard and a couple of beds available in Glen Innes for use either way 
its a comfortable 5 hour ride down to the KRR from here 

in past years i have made my way down to nabiac , from the KRR , ,, then for me up to port macquarie  then up the twistys of the Oxley highway and onto Walcha 
keep in mind that the popular stop up the Oxley , Gingers Creek , is closed for the foreseeable future , just a heads up .

No worries re thread, nice to hear of trip possibilities and with the border open meantime it’s looking good for some adventure . However if the planning becomes more serious probably best to give it its own thread.

What are NSW rules on  large gathering ?  Will the KRR be limited to a set attendance number ? 
I use to know the rally organiser  when Rob Lovett did it but I'm not sure he is involved in next year rally

I think they have a limit of 50 people in an outside gathering, which would knock the rally on the head.  However if Gladys gets her act together there is still time to get things under control in that state and the warmer weather will help.
