I've been looking for a short shock for my K75s. I tried a couple of BM wreckers to no avail. I'm now looking at a YSS short shock. I'd appreciate views on YSS or alternatives.
Regards Martin.

Martin, I have had a YSS shock on the rear of my 16V K100RS for two years and 8,000 miles now.  It's set up with minimum spring preload and the damping on the lighter side.  I wouldn't say it's totally dialed in, but it's pretty close.  This is the bike I use most of the season riding one up for commuting on the interstate, and for fun rides in the hills.

So far, I find it provides a comfortable ride and it makes the bike feel planted and secure in bumpy turns.  It feels a lot like the Fox Twin Clicker that I had on an earlier K100RS.  Bottom line is that it has a lot to offer for the price.

They're making some good stuff with origins in Thailand these days.

Thanks TWB and Gryph I've been running RAD OEM rebuilds which have been great, however my newest seat (Corbin) requires me to lower the bike a little. Some of you guys collect whole Bricks but for some reason I'm accumulating seats and top boxes. Five seats now and it was six top boxes now down to four, in order to finance the upgraded shock a clearance sale will be on the cards.  Rod at RAD can shorten the OEM 20 mm, but without sourcing a different spring reckons it will be too harsh. So it looks like the YSS will be the go.
Regards Martin.

YSS was pretty good.  Lots of questions about how the bike is used, then they set the shock up for you.  All that you need to do is tweak the preload and the damping.

Thanks Gryph, I'm now in the process of pulling out my excess stock and putting it on Ebay.
Regards Martin.
