Hi T-bone,
Great to have you with us and we all look forward to your contribution. The level of knowledge and skill on this list is astounding with guys out there who have been doing this forever and have answers to just about every problem that can come up.

Plus we get some fantastic ride reports about epic journeys members make some of which are set down as if it was a slightly extended ride to the paper shop but when you read the whole report the whole drama of it comes alive. If you have not read it yet give yourself a treat and go and read "On How to Overtake a Roadtrain" in the Trips section.
Regards,
K-BIKE

Welcome to this forum T-bone.
The K1200gt is a nice bike but only few people will have the knowledge to help you with this model. (I wish that I Have one in my K barn)
For your K100, we should not have any problem to help you if you are in need and we will be happy if you share your experience with us.

Bienvenido!
Bert

If T-bone's GT is the earlier flopped-four GT and not the later 55mm lean-forward GT then he's simply got a later incarnation of our models...BMW kept the GT based on the K1200RS for a while before the new GT appeared on the scene. We can still share info.

We may have to extend the forum to the K1200GT too....
This forum started as a K100 2V, then K100 4v, then K75 and now the k1200...
Too bad that it's too late to rename the forum to something like "the brick forum" (we would lose all our posts)
If we can help, why not including the K1200.
