After leaving the house yesterday a couple of blocks down the road the bike misfired once and kept running smoothly.  Pulled into the gas station for a fill up and the bike would not turn off.  Hit the kill switch and it shut down but the headlight stayed on.  Bike started right up but again it wouldn't turn off.

Last summer I had the ignition switch apart for cleaning and a non starting issue.  Has been starting fine since then.  Am I looking at a new switch?

In USA motos, the kill switch does not shut off the headlight. Next time the engine doesn't shut off, wiggle the key in the ignition switch and see if that shuts it off. If it does, the ignition switch needs more work or you need to replace it.

Now that'll teach me not to look at someone's sig....
