This is my 1989 K75S. I am currently riding her without the fairing as most of my riding is in the city and I find the naked set up much more comfortable inside the heavy traffic. When I will get a second workhorse bike (an old F650GS maybe) I 'll turn her back to the original mode.

Both beautiful looking machines and I am not biased in anyway.

If you do decide to return to the original 75S fairing, I am sure I can find you a home for the current one!

There are a few of us here that own both F650GSDs and 75s here and the 650 is definitely fun around town.  It can be annoying in slow traffic as it has tall gears resulting in on again/off again with the throttle whereas the 75 purrs along on low revs.

Stavros, the K75 looks good in any mode.

I went down the track of turning my K1100LT into a naked version with the intention of having the fairing on for winters and off for summers but enjoyed the naked version so much that it stayed that way until I sold it - and I just bought better winter riding gear.

As Tackler mentioned, I am one of the people with a K75 and a 650GS single (mine is a G) and they are both great bikes.

Thanks for the pictures.

Cheers
