Hi I'm a new member of this forum
I have just bought a 1987 K100RS Motorsport, I had the exact same bike some 12 years ago and when this bike came up on the local craigslist I couldn't help myself...may be a big mistake but only time and riding will tell.

Nice you are back in the fold.....the only mistake you can make is not making space for more of them because they multiply.......

Hi Gumby,

My first K (and indeed my first 'proper' bike) was a 1987 Style in spotless all black and I so wish I'd have kept it. That was back in 1989.

If one comes up again and funds/garage space allow, I'm gonna get it.

A picture wouldn't go amiss  Hi New Member 652573

All the best

Bonz

Welkome to the forum. As a new member, you have to have - I believe - five posts before you can avail yourself of the photo upload option.

I have a 1987 K100RS Motorsport, but the original owner, lamentably, sprayed it metallic red upon exporting it from Germany to Australia some years ago.

One of the main reasons for joining is I had taken the wheels off to have new tires installed ( the old ones were 19 years old)  I dont have a shop manual for this bike and I was looking for the torque settings and came across a post by  RicK G with an nice plain list , thanks!
