Hi all Fuel gaue now fitted and working (backwards of course) however it cant seem to settle on a constant level. if for ar0guments sake i have half a tank the gauge will sit on half then 3/4 then to 1/4 ( also reversed but  thats expected)  and somtimes back to empty (as in not signal).

Im suspecting the windings  of the sender unit are worn or need cleaning,but Im not sure.

Anyideas would be appreciated
