Who would be up for a run down the East coast of Oz to the moto GP.

A) If it on and open to the public
B) we are allowed to travel interstate

It would be a 10 day trip for the Queensland riders ( 4 - 2 - 4 )

Currently scheduled for Friday 23 thru Sunday 25 October 2020 at Phillip Island if it doesn't get shunted or punted to make way for another race since the entire season has been thrown into chaos & disarray like everything known to man these past coupla months.

Yes being late in the season might be a blessing and I'm sure the small coastal town down that way would love a bit of the tourist dollars after missing out on a complete season with the devastating fires

You don't need to worry about borders being open for the GP this year guys.

Start planning the trip for 2021 - just announced that Phillip Island and Silverstone GPs are cancelled.

Cheers

I rose today to that sad news. I get it, but what a bummer for both the UK and OZ. The season is now s'posed to be starting in the Czech Republic or in Spain in July or August - but that remains to be seen.

I am very glad I did not automatically renew the yearly US$150-odd MotoGP video subscription.

For those interested, there is a very good independent app available called Team Moto (as well as an ad-free Team Moto Pro version) which is a compilation of articles which are updated a coupla times daily about GP from BSN, Chequered Flag, RideApart, Crash.net, Motorsport.com, MotoGP & others. It has a calendar, info on the riders and teams, point standings, weather on the day of the race, and etc. It will even remind you about practice, qualifying & race times for Moto2, 3 & GP on your calendar, if you like.

Here is a link Team Moto App for Android - I don't use Apple products, so I dunno if it'll go for those who do.
