Dear All,

Hi, I am a new member from Japan and I am having a hard time reaching out to the people who has knowledges that I need to complete my work in my region.
Also this is my first attempt to join in a forum, so pls let me know if I'm using inappropriate manner.

Last year,I have purchased a 87 K100LT for my first motorcycle rebuild project in my life and I don't have any engineer skilled back ground.
My bike was not on the road for quite a long time from how it look. It came as a stock condition with 48000km on it.
Before I started to tear down, I tried to start the engine and it sounded fine and idled stable. but never had a chance to ride around town since it was not registered. (the seller said it could ride strait and stops when it needed)

long story short,After all the work, I was trying to finalize the project by completing the new wiring integrating M.unit,BEP3.0,motoscope mini,MSM combi,M button
There was not a complete diagram so I patched up the diagram from a few example from the internet.

Last week before my 1st attempt to ignite, I cleaned the injector, fitted a new fuel pump+cleaner and tried to crank it for the first time. but she only coughs 3sec at the longest and after a while I keep trying to turn over, the fuel started to drain out from the joint of the muffler.

I should go into the trouble shooting to check every element, but before that, I need a big favor from someone who can take a look at my diagram to check if there is a crucial error there.

I am having consecutive unknown error uploading the pdf so I put a link to my file.

Thanks in advance for your tips cheers

Hello Kentaro-san

There are some people on this forum who have successfully used those parts, but I am not one of them. I have looked at your diagram and it would help if you could post a larger version of it. Some parts are hard to read.

Also; you need five posts before you can upload anything. It's to stop spambots.

Thanks for your advice Dai-san

I'm sorry about the resolution but If you could DL the file and it will be much clearer.
But now I understood why my file was not accepted.
I will try to look for the successful person who accomplished what Im aiming for.

Thanks for your Advice!

Checking every element using this guide is exactly what should be done now. Fuel coming from the exhaust could be a sign of injectors stuck open, a fuel pressure regulator malfunction, a coolant temperature sensor malfunction or something else. Review of this guide provides for novices an orderly method of troubleshooting and also an explanation of how various components work within the fuel injection and ignition control systems.

Inspection and cleaning of all electrical connectors and inspection of all intake tubes including the crankcase breather hose is essential in the rehabilitation of neglected motos.

Thanks Laitch,I think I should proceed to follow that trouble shooting.
By now I have deep cleaned injectors, changed spark plugs, deep cleaned fuel line ,replaced fuel pump+filter.
I also have replaced the crankcase breather hose but have substituted with regular heat resist hose and used hose cramp to stay on its position.
Do you know is there any reason I have to buy the genuine product for this?

There's no reason for you to use the OEM product. The next time the crankcase breather hose splits on my K100 I intend to use a piece of silicon hose as a replacement. I've seen it done but I just can't remember where.
