Have fun!!! I'm in the opposite camp - travel as light as possible even when camping wild.

Have a good trip. The coast of Croatia is fantastic. I was there with my brother who doesn't ride so we rented scooters and rode there. I would love to ride there on a real bike.

+1 on that. I was out in Croatia this summer and just wishing I was on my bike. Don’t know what part you’re going to, but a twisty ride to the top of Sveti Jure (1762m) is recommended (near Makarska, just south of Split). I drove up - 23km of single track roads and multiple hairpins but would live to do it by bike.duck wrote:Have a good trip. The coast of Croatia is fantastic. I rode first to Mlini by Dubrovnik, then Makarska RivieraBorn Again Eccentric wrote:+1 on that. I was out in Croatia this summer and just wishing I was on my bike. Now I am staying exactly next to the village (Podgora) above which road to Sveti Jure, Mt Biokovo Nature Park, begins. I rode there many times with all of my bikes - this with my previous K 100 LT:
