Was speaking with a technician from a BMW bike dealer (mechanic) a few weeks ago and he informed me that coolant no longer has to be replaced at certain intervals. Apparently the new coolant is so good that it just keeps going. It is a specific BMW product and the mechanic is now using it in his car.
Not sure whether it would be compatible with the Ks.
