Hi everybody,

Born early 1949, I am probably riding my last BM, a 1995 K1100LT ready for starting its third turn of counter this summer (presently 197335 km). I started my k friendship with a very tired 1985 K100RT the organs of which I learnt to very well know! Besides those two I owned for a couple of years an ex police R1100RT.

Through a forum such as this one I learnt a lot of things about the Ks.

I joined this forum to compare my knowledge to the ones of other "spirits" of the world. If the opportunity occurs, and if it is accepted, I would like to share part my experience, mainly based on my willingness of understanding how things work.

Sorry for my english which, like my k knowledge, I learnt, I must now find out how to configure the english corrector.  Wink

Your English works just fine, much better than I hear and speak here in Yorkshire. Welcome. Can I come and live with you after Brexit please?

Bienvenue Poupy.

Experience sharing is always welcome and this is what make the success of this forum.

You live in a beautiful area for cruising on your K. Years ago it was one of my motorcycle "playground". We were almost neighbors (I am originally from Metz and my grand mother was from Plainfaing).

WelKome, Poupy.

I regularly spend time with my daughter in Rodemack, almost in Luxembourg, but sadly, my French is not nearly as good as your English. I must work on that.  Smile

Thanks for your welcome.

I have a good feeling about your very international group which makes me realise that the world is small...

I have quite a number of souvenirs from Yorkshire. Part of my english comes from the Bull's Head Inn in Cleckheaton (then wool industry area) where I lived one month in the summer 73. My room was just above the pub. Of course, impossible to sleep before the closing time. Only option: discussing around a beer! Great times...
What worries me most about Brexit is how to deal with Motorworks and Motobins Smile

Hearing from Plainfaing from Canada is just amazing. I regularly cross that place. And stop in its candies factory... The area is effectively kind of a bikers paradise.
