I am considering making an offer on a 1988 model K100LT, with supposedly only 15 000 Kms on the clock. Mine is a 1990 LT, and was wondering if most of the bits were compatible.eg, final drive, drive shaft, clutch, gearbox , disc rotors etc etc.

Thanx, Rickmeister.

The only thing you would find that is any real difference is that the secondary shaft will be a 6 rivit in the 88 and in the 90 it may or may not be a 12 rivit.

Rick, may I suggest you check out the stud holding the rear suspension before you buy it. And of course you must get another yellow bike.
