Sounds heat related. What kind of ignition switch does it have and where is it located?

How hot does the ignition switch get when running?  If nothing works on the bike when you try to restart and it's hot then it sounds like it might be an ignition switch issue. Can you use a heat gun or hair dryer with the heat off to cool the ignition switch down in order to troubleshoot?

Hi duck

I've solved the problem thanks to you 👍 it turns out that the plunger on the clutch switch was not closing the contact... I've linked out the cable for now untill I get a new switch...Whoop

🤗🤗👍

On the original K bike wither pull in clutch OR be in neutral with neutral light on gives you a start.

That works fine and if the neutral light goes you still have the clutch switch until it goes.

When that fails on the 2v Ks the rear brake switch is the exact same part, borrow it and use it for the clutch switch replacement. When you then go to replace the brake switch its all accessible on right hand side under the side cover without removing or lifting the fuel tank. Choke switch is also the same part.
