Welcome to the forum.

As for the bug...well my first K was when somebody said I should try one, in 2010. So I did. Unfortunately it was one that was for sale so the inevitable happened.

A few years later 2013 another one came up.....the darn thing came with a mate!!

Then I went one year to France 2017 and someone told me a K was for sale.....

Then 2018 the person who had that one for sale happened to ask me if I knew anyone interested in a K that lived not far from me.....Yep I did.

Somebody recently asked me had I any trouble selling the old Ks........Naïve blighter....

Someone has recently had the audacity to suggest I should have a K1. I am aware of one locally that's been hidden away and hasn't seen light of day for many many years so now I am pondering but have to fix my shed first.......The RS had lived very near me and I had seen it out a few times despite it only doing 7,000 miles in 12 years. Its now in active service.

Thing is, the forum makes it easy to maintain them, buy parts selectively and you are sorted. Of course with interchangeability having another K is rather too easy.

WelKcome!

92KK: You may as well give in to the DarK Side and buy the K1.  I always snubbed my nose at K1s, then I bought one.  The only real issue is if the ergos work for you or not.  Even if they don't then a K1 is still interesting garage candy.

Its kind of weighing on me but the problem is that it needs some work. As in it hasn't moved in 20 years. Literally. Its stored ok, very well stored in fact, but........I don't need one and I am liking this RS too much. It got a tow bar delivered this morning....it may be coming to France instead of the K1100........
I need more info on it though, its a whole lot more lively than I expected and the engine is seriously tight. Its early, with the drain plugs on the cam and engine covers, much more peppy than the other 8v Ks, especially the 1984 K100RT which in theory should be the same. But its not.
