I can't recall if I posed this question when I first acquired my 1996 K1100LT, so please excuse me if this question has been addressed and I missed it. During winter months of inactivity, my brain starts to grasp at straws. lol
My super-low-miles bike was seldom used, as the PO had around 30 in his collection. It's essentially a new bike. I didn't get the owner's manual so I don't have the anti-theft code for the radio. It will not turn on. I gather from the PO that this is the result of a battery change out. BMWNA cannot provide the radio code. Although there are YouTube videos that purport to explain how these codes can be recovered, in the case of motorcycles, this is not possible.
Does anyone know of a work around for the code?
