I got the alternate blinking ABS warning lights. Does this disable the ABS 2 unit completely, or can technically the ABS still pulsate when the error warning lights are blinking?

Just want to know for trouble shooting before i reset the error code.

Many thanks

When the ABS lights are flashing when riding it means that the control unit is in fault mode and will not activate/pulsate.  You're essentially left with normal non-ABS braking.

A common cause is the battery running low and/or getting old.

Thanks, duck. Exactly the info I was after... Will reset the little sucker now... Let's keep fingers crossed I can resurrect the ABS system. Bike was sitting in a barn for the last 12 years. Only has 44km on the clock...

Exactly as you said! A reset fixed it! Couldn't be more happy! Was already dreading an expensive repair...
