To all the forum members, both near and far, may the festive session be a happy time to you and your families. Our K family has a lot to answer for as it brought together many souls because of their interests in the K machine. In turn many friendships have been established and nurtured along the way.
We all know what Santa's preferred mode of transport looks like.

Easy to see why the wife doesn't like it Bert..after you saying "I need a new tyre for the bike" and then hanging it on the door without using it  ( I see it still has the moulding bits on it) and to upset her even more you hang two different size pistons with it.
Did you ask her if she liked big or small before hanging them??? Very Happy

Perhaps if you didn't use a 'Battlax' tyre she might view you differently.

Its all in the detail. Could I suggest 'Angel' might be better.

...and a very Happy Christmas to all K friends near and far from an unseasonably mild (7 deg C) Bristol UK.

Missing the Aussie warmth but certainly not dreaming of a white Christmas - I've seen as much snow as I want to see this year - where it should be, 10000ft up in the French Alps this week (not a K bike in sight...but some lovely twisty, mountain roads that may persuade me back on my K100's in some summer months to come?!).

Here's hoping that the weather for the trip o'er the Irish Sea on 27/28th Dec is somewhat milder and less slippery.

Riding K bikes and skiing are not mutually exclusive activities.  I built a ski rack for my K1100LT and used to take it skiing in the spring.  Fortunately my ski boots fit perfectly into city cases.

No mate, that is a fallacy. The funnel webs live outdoors and only occasionally wander inside. Lookout if you are gardening , sitting on the grass, walking barefoot, etc. Otherwise you are probably safe from funnelwebs.

It is the redbacks you find under the toilet seat Smile
