As alluded to in my introduction I decided to take on a little project putting together a 1986 K100RT old police bike, came as frame and boxes of parts. After a year of cleaning, stripping, replacing and painting finally in a position to try the engine. And after 20yrs since last run started first time.
So far so good runs really smooth on idle slightly fast but as soon as you tweak the throttle splutters and dies. Smells really rich as well. It has new injectors and good spark have read lots of ideas with regard to similar problems from the TPS, temp sensor the AMM. was wondering if there is a logical way to eliminate issues and whether it just needs adjusting. Any advice gratefully received.
