Hi folks,

Although I have just joined, I have owned my 1984 K100 RS for over 20 years.
It was always my dream bike when I was younger.
I had a poster of a dark blue metallic RS, but when I was able to get one, it was Madison Silver.
Although it is in good condition, I intend to bring it back to mint condition, over the next wee while.

I have always wanted an RT or LT to compliment it.
A couple of years ago I purchased a 1989 K100 LT.
Although low mileage, the elderly owner had dropped it a couple of times whilst moving it in his garage!
As a result it had a few scrapes and damaged paintwork.
So I have stripped it bare to check and clean it and have decided to change the colour.

I also have a variety of other bikes;-
I have a couple of 1975 Suzuki GT500's, one that I have had since 1977.
I Have a Kawasaki 550 Zephyr, a CCM R30 650cc Supermoto, and a 1979 Yamaha FS1E-DX 49cc (or a Fizzy moped as it is known in the UK) 
Quite a variety, but you can never have too many.

When you're elderly, you'll likely be needing a fairing-mount straightening jig for a similar mishap. Plans are on the site here, somewhere. You'd better find then download them soon while memory is still fresh.

Laitch is right - Fibron is not known for returning to its old shape after the bike has been dropped. I have two RS fairings that have a droopy left mirror pod because of drops.
