that connector is almost the same as the clutch , rear brake switch front brake switch as it leaves the main loom the mate for it is on the end of the cable coming from the switches , I believe its a 2.1 mm pin plug required to fit that socket , but I haven't seen many available at all ..exactly the same
inside the rear cowl stop light lens assembly you will see small spade type connectors connecting to each of the globe holders .
I would break into the cables before reaching the globe assembly
there is a hole in the rear cowl upper right hand side ...which lets the cabling loom to gain access to the rear lens , you could drop a cable out through that hole , so its on the under side of the rear cowl ...easily allowing access to that connector there ...I guess. as its a routine part of changing tyres , to remove that rear flap- guard from the bike to let the wheel come out the back whilst on the centre stand.
possible a cable p clamp could hold that cable in place so it doesn't bind - collect the rear wheel whilst moving ???
hope that helps
