I would suspect a fuel pump so check the fuel pressure. Remove the fuel filler assembly, 4 screws. Then remove the internal line that goes from pump to filter from the filter. Grasp the line in your hand with your thumb over the end of the line while the line is inside the tank and with the ignition on press the starter button you should be barely able to prevent fuel escaping if the pump is up to scratch. then with the line facing into the tank press the starter and without your thumb on the tube the fuel should come out like a fire hose, but I sure wouldn't recommend using it for a fire hose

If that seems OK put a new filter in and try running it again.
