hello,

In the K100 parts manual I see a spacer between the frame and the engine suspension point at the left/front side.
The parts manual even shows different spacers in different thickness.
I didn't see that spacer when I dismantled my bike.
I could have missed it.
When I installed the frame back I saw a real small gap in between the frame and the enigne point but it closed when I tightened the bolt.
I am talking about less then 1 mm. Would this spacer be real important?

thx,M

Yes, that spacer is really important. It needs to be in place otherwise the tracking of the motorcycle could be off, which is a dangerous situation. There are specific instructions in the OEM service manual for your year and model of K-bike for torquing up the frame and determining the correct size of that spacer.

I have the Haynes manual but can't find any info on this spacer.
You say OEM service manual?

The spacer also affects vibration damping. It is very important to get those shims right.
