I didn't want to hijack the Banner thread, so though I'd start a small thread about members' mutts.
As most people know, I've been travelling with Bella the red cattle dog since she was literally a pup. She's done trips to Melbourne, Narranderra, QLD, Perth from one side of the country to the other and back. and many other places in between, been in a prang or two and even hit a roo on the way to Nindigully a couple of years ago.

In recent years she's been joined by Seamus who is a sturdy and plucky " bitza" who has grown to love travelling by sidecar as well. He did the trip to Perth and back and was recently seen in Lightning Ridge and Nindigully.

Anyway, I know Al Pennykid gets around with his dogazoids as well and has many, many miles with them under his belt. I also now know Woodie over in the States has a blue dog; who else has a dog or two out there or has travelled with one in the past?

Some clips of the trip to Perth in 2014.

Both of my boys weigh nearly 80kg each and since I dont have a chair for the K, they are relegated to only riding in the car. The girl is about 60kg and a bit old to try and teach new tricks.Dogazoids Dsc_0814

Here's Bella doing a short lap around Guyra.
The bike back then was an 85 K100RT with a home made sidecar... that did occasionally have some... er... " issues" but it did a lot of fun miles
Am looking forward to getting the other project on the road when I can.

Wonderfull travelling companions.

I have to start with Spike, who travelled on the bike from '87, went to Tassie, Perth, Northern Teritory and much more.

Deety was my wifes dog, another good traveller, a little lady, went around OZ in '02

Then we had Chilli, a tricolour Tenterfield TerrierDogazoids 252602_413909461992628_1806804354_n

Then young Abbie, Maries dog again. She's the best ratter we've had.  Only a young girl here, shes got a very wiry coat now.

And finally Leroy (aka Boofhead).  He is very good at holding the sidecar on the ground, a coward and good at making friends.

Just to show he's a well rounded hound with hobbies other than motorcycling

And of course Matilda, a very strange looking dog(who did enjoy sidecar travel and camping):

She was good traveller but was difficult too.  Loved going to see new places, but didn't like having other campers about.  She'd either hide in the tent or disappear somewhere if someone caught her out.
