Hi yall, from a new to BMW, long time rice-burner rider from Tennessee. I realize there's a lot to learn, so take it easy on me.

Welcome and don't worry about us taking it easy. First thing you learn about being new to BMW is the importance of lube........regular use of lube is very important. Its referred to as spline lube.

On a more serious note welcome and you will find everyone is very helpful and doesn't make fun of people asking questions. The simple question you don't ask may well be the one that bites you. Having said that there is plenty of good humour and banter and swapping of parts, information and even the odd meet up.

Some of the guys have mint bikes and some are too busy riding them to make them mint.

In time you will contract K Pox and be aware there is no known cure. Some have tried wives/gfs but the body usually rejects them instead.

Do pop up some photos, also try and put in your bike and VIN as there are lots of changes over the lifetime and there are folk here who can tell you what you have for breakfast from your VIN.

Where in Tennessee? My grandfather was born and raised in the hollers around Dandridge back in the 1800s.
