I hope we are done with most of the snow for a few months, it just left and I was looking for some ride time.
as far as a ride report, I was impressed with the responsiveness, steering seems a bit loose, or should I say sensitive. maybe I just need to get used to it. unlike my old FJ1100 the K100 goes slow without any complaint. The other thing that impressed me is the rearview mirrors are actually usable, previous bikes I've had the rearviews vibrate to the point they are useless. probably better on this one because they are fairing mounted and not handlebar mounted. My last BMW was an R60 and I must say the 13 year gap made a world of difference.

That really is a good looking brick.
One of the great things about the brick engine is that the power delivery is so smooth across the whole rpm range. No dead spots coming off of idle or sudden rushes at 2500. To me, that is what makes riding them so easy for long periods of time even in stop and go traffic.
