I have it all apart right now and would like to get it back on the road, anyone know of an alternate that is easier to find?
Thanks,
Chris
Chris, you will find a lot of info on this by searching this and other forums. However, I think that there are two things that you must look for:
a. it has to be high temperature grease base, else it will simply melt and get flung off, and
b. it should have high concentration of moly disuphide( or disulfide, MoS2). We often talk about 50% or greater.
Often these go under a label of anti scuff or assembly greases, but whatever you do make sure that it is high temperature and/or it mentions use for splines.
