Hi guys, I am well on with my rebuild now, powder coated fram, all panels resprayed, wheels blasted and powder coated.  Also stripped split engine, changed water pump, clutch new cables etc etc.  On rebuild and ready to run engine tomorrow but I have a single earth wite that runs towards back from pictures I took during strip down and I dont know what it connects to!  It is a female bullet connector and I have no male bullets anywhere so wondering if it was for something else as it is the only single earth wire attached to main earth on frame.

Any assistance apreciated and so far all my electrics work as I have tested lights, horn, indicators, front brake etc.

If it's white and square, it has no mate. Ignore it.

Not the one I was thinking of, but I think you've answered your own question. AFAICS that's not OEM - someone's added it.

Might have been added to provide for running lights.

Cheers guys for all the replies and assistance I realy do appreciate your time.  Well my final piece of high pressure hose turned up and I connected it, checked all my electrics and then after about 7 presses of the starter she fired into life!!!!  A superb moment after having the bike in bits and the first time I have stripped one down to this level.  Anyway I refitted the rest of the body work and now only have the braking system to re-fit and I will be able to go for a ride.  That engine sounds superb, especially as I have had the injectors all overhauled.
