A mate has a very tidy K75C which has developed an electrical fault. From what I can gather it was running  when he turned it off a week ago, but yesterday when he tried to start it there was no electrical power anywhere. We did check the fuses without any joy, including trying different ones just in case it was a dud fuse. I'm guessing a relay problem. If this is likely, which one would it be? Any other suggestions? The blokes a solicitor so no electrical knowledge at all, doesnt even own a multimeter.

So true!

Also check the ground strap from the battery to the transmission be sure it is clean, tight and in good condition then check the battery cable connections at the battery to be certain they're tight, too.

Hello!

If there is no power at all !! it’s the ignition switch, I had the same issue.

1. I would be guessing the ignition switch to start with, Touch /move the Connection

2. clean/reconnecting the minus/ground connection
Left side, at the gear box. Check the batterie cable
K75C no electrics 3310e310

Cheers

If no power anywhere then the ignition switch or the battery terminals/grounds. Is the clock working?

But its not unknown either for a battery to fail suddenly and do that too. Worth investigating alternatives before going at the ignition, do the easy tasks and cheap tasks first.

Yes Andrew, if the battery is low and the starter is sticking, it’s a fast way to disconnect the power.
It’s for fixing a saddle to a bike.

Cheers
