Hello all

While repairing the water pump on the K

I damaged the rubber cap that seal the terminal on the oil pressure switch

Anyone know where or what replacement will work to seal it from crud ?

That is quite a common type of cap Matt, I reckon most auto stores would be able to find one or maybe even have one.

The BMW part number for the cap is 61 13 1 363 318 and is listed at less than US$2.00, so that'll be ten dollars Down Undah.

TWB, you have to let on where you get your parts because I want to get mine there too.

The Max BMW parts fiche shows that part for a mere $6.21US.

eGahds! Bitten by realoem.com yet again! They show it as $1.77. Clearly they're not keeping up with current pricing - BMWNA does quarterly updates to their dealer pricing chart.

T'other day I needed a combi switch and realoem had it at retailing for $132 when it is now priced at $185. Still, the rubber boot is currently available, and not terribly expensive. Since they fit all early Ks oil pressure and water temp switches I keep two in my spares bin.
