Well, as I work my way through the electrics of which there is an awful lot, my thoughts where that although far superior to Italian spaghetti they where not quite Japanese standards [I also have a Honda Transalp 600], I found some of the insulation to be almost paper like and can understand the electrical issue as their is a lot of exposed wiring some of which had started to chaff against each other,
So I cleaned up all connections with electrical cleaner and sealed all connectors, also re-insulating harness's where required.
The one thing I did do was to use spywrap on all cable runs to stop them from chaffing against each other or against body parts, glad I decided to give her a look over before any serious work must admit though I am looking forward to using her she is well made.
