Hello Everyone,

Following on from my previous posts regarding the total strip down and renovation of my K100

I am now starting to fit new seals to the engine, gearbox and final drive.

I have a set of K1100 throttle bodies with the potentiometer fitted to them and wondered if it was possible to fit them and just connect the wires. I understand that the airflow meter flap spindle operates the potentiometer and that both have the same amount of wires.

Has anyone already completed this modification - if yes, have you noticed any significant changes.

Or is this not possible?

Any advice, guidance, hints or tips would be very much appreciated.

k1100 tbs do fit ...but the tps switch is very different between the models and their function

someone has changed the last butterfly rod so that the old k 100 adaptor-interface lines up with the k100 tps (sorry forgot exactly who .....ringfad ?) 
from memory the k1100 is a half moon ...but the k100 is a tongue- slot  type fit into the tps switch
yes a good improvement from a couple of sources
you will have to plug the rear vacuume lines on the k1100 tbs ...that are different to the k100  as well .
