Greetings Brick Experts!
I've got 1987 K100RS w/90,000 miles on the clock. I'd like to replace the keyed ignition switch with a simple non-BMW switch. Read on another forum awhile back that this can be accomplished by simply tying together the two gray wires, then adding a simple switch between the red and green wires. The result is a lose of the parking lights which I never use anyway.
Has anyone done this and is it not detrimental to the rest of the circuitry???
Thanks all I enjoy the forum,
Gee
