Picked up a bike in Colorado brought back to Mississippi to restore, bought it at an estate auction hoping someone could help me with some issues, thanks!
I bought it from an estate sale for $530 US put some gas and jumper cables on it and fired right up after sitting 8 years, what other bike does that? It has road rash on one side, I'm pulling the plastic off and repainting, it is blue now but going to two tone with silver or white as the main color. Will have to post b4 and after pics!Point-Seven-five wrote:Welcome! What model K100 do you have. I have the '92 K100RS. When I got it it was pretty neglected, but running ok. These machines respond very well to a little TLC followed by miles and miles of flogging.
+1 on the new Brick article. Don't be afraid to ask questions, some of here really have no life outside of helping to get bikes we've never seen running.
It is a 92 K100RS as well and not much flogging that I could tell!Point-Seven-five wrote:Welcome! What model K100 do you have. I have the '92 K100RS. When I got it it was pretty neglected, but running ok. These machines respond very well to a little TLC followed by miles and miles of flogging.

Yes.... that 1100RS fairing is very sexy. I don't think we've seen that one of yours before... I didn't think you could post pictures .75
