I have signed up for this event along with Will and our newest newcomer 59Viper from Coleraine so 3 Eccentrics so far.
It is run every year and I have signed up for it on 3 years in a row but events like trips to France conspired to stop me going. Reports are a nice well organised event and a very nice ride out on the Saturday.
Camping option looks rather good and a route exploring Donegal is sounding very attractive.
My own plan is to head out of Cork Thursday evening/early Friday morning and meet up with Will at Roscommon before lunch, that's a 3 hour route. From Wills its not too far to Draperstown.
Any more takers let me know. We will organise a little K Korner. Hoping maybe Dai and Comberjohn might make it along. Even better if we could get Markzz and GMCQ along.

The 2017 ABR Ireland Rally will be held over the weekend of Friday 19th - 21st May. This is a month later than last year, so hopefully the weather gods may be a bit more favourable.
With the excellent feedback from members from the pervious 2 events, together with the superb reception from the site owner, our venue this year will again be the Shepherds Rest, near Draperstown.
This is an excellent location, very biker friendly with very good facilities, washrooms, showers etc, and most importantly a bar on site
From Dublin the distance to the campsite is around 125 miles / 2hrs 15min
From Belfast the distance is around 50 miles / 1hr
Full details about the venue can be found here www.shepherdsrestpub.com
Camping fees have been negotiated to remain the same as last year and will only be £5 pppn. This will be collected on site by the host sometime after your arrival.
Food on the Friday night can be had from the bar, eg Chicken & Chips in a basket etc. A breakfast menu is not available, but this will be factored into the early part of the Saturday Ride-Out, unfortunately that means self catering for breakfast on Sunday morning
At this time there is only one planned road ride out and this will be on Saturday exploring the Co. Donegal area. If things work out there 'may' be an alternative ride out mainly exploring the 'Donegal Boreens' - Green lanes and tracks. Details will be confirmed in due course
The pub landlord has again agreed to provide a 3 course buffet on our return on Saturday at £10pp. Excellent value in my book There will also be some entertainment provided
