Hi, I've placed an order on WezMoto in the UK for some braided hoses but because I've removed the ABS System the standard hoses wont suffice.

So he's struggling to get what i need

Here is what I have so far, hopefully someone can help me firm up the specifications so Wez Moto can hook me up with some nice new ones.

I took the liberty of taking some pictures and Measurements; excuse my technical inexperience, I’m learning as I go.
 
Current Set up
 
Front: Top
Currently in two parts…
 
Part One Banjo to Female Swivel? – 410mm
Part Two Male Swivel - to Banjo – 300mm
2 x Front Bottom – Female Swivel to Banjo – 150mm
 
Back:
Banjo to Male - 320mm
 
Can you please take a look at the pictures I have attached and check to see what I have requested looks right?
 
New Setup:
Front Top Hose : 700mm Banjo - Banjo
Front Lowers : 155mm Female - Banjo
Rear : 310mm Banjo - Banjo





 

I looked at Wezmoto's site and I could not find a selection of hoses for BMW bikes nor does it have a custom section. Did Wezmoto explain to you exactly how to measure your hoses like this supplier does? How did you arrive at choosing that company?

Using string and measuring from beginning to end along the hose, cutting the string and then laying it on the tape will give a more accurate measurement. First though, you need to know what to measure. Your photos' measurements are unclear to me.

There shouldn't be a struggle to get measurements. The process should be clear to all parties. Consider rethinking this.

Thanks Laitch - I suppose I'm not overly concerned about the lengths as those measuremts should give me sufficient wiggle room.

Im more interested in the Connectors being right.

I chose Wez because over all he was the most reasonable in price for a compete set.

Specifically I'm looking for clarification on the Male/Female choice.

Another option is go to braidedhoses.com.au and find a supplier that's local to you. Take your samples etc to them and get them to make the hoses for you.

My local supplier in Penrith has always done a great job, meets Aus standards and at a competitive price.

I use Penrith Brake and Clutch on Coreen Ave. But like I said braidedhoses.com.au lists businesses all over the country.
