Hi there,
I am now the owner of a 1989 k100lt.
My plan is to strip it down to make a cafe racer/ flat tracker.
I am sure I will need some advice along the way (the electrics look a bit of a minefield!!)
I will post pictures as I progress and look forward to using some wise words👍👍

Welcome to the forum, you will drop some 40kg by removing the Zorst and Fairing panels, hard to drop the instrument binnacle, but we have people here who have. Read and Enjoy, we like Pics and posts.

The Clever are adept at extricating themselves from situations that the wise would have avoided from the outset - QUOTE from david Hillel in Out of the Earth.

WelKome to the forum Mackie.

"Cafe race/Flat tracker" .....?? I think many modders are becoming confused about the different mod styles these days and as a result we are seeing a lot of crazy hybrid machines that fail both practically and aesthetically.
