1 Fuel Injection system refresh Tue Jul 26, 2016 9:04 pm

I had a very sub-optimal fuel line hemorrhage and I thought I would do a refurb of the exterior fuel lines as well as the manifold and up. The fuel system was emptied and now, with it all back together, the bike isn't firing up. The engine turns over and will "run" with starting fluid. I can hear the fuel pump working (but it does sound a bit sluggish). Before I start looking into the tank items, I'm wondering if anyone has any idea or experience with refilling and repressurizing the system. When the system is emptied, how long does it take with normal "push the button" starting to refill and repressurize the system? Just a minute? A few tries? Or does it take "a long dang time and you'll think you're going to have to look into the tank items because something is wrong, but it will work." (That last one is where I'm at now...) I've tried to start the bike and I don't want to damage the starter by continuing to try. The battery is fully charged. The last step is to pull the internals, replace the filter and check the pump. Before I do that, I was hoping to tap the experience here. Thanks for any an all advice.
