Two sets of engine protection bars are for sale on e-bay claiming they are from/for a 1985 K100 and a 1980s K100.
To verify the model they belong to I ran the number (46542300153/4) in the OEM site but it came up blank.
Can someone tell me what year and model they belong to or point me to a site that I can look it up.

Stick up a link so we can see them. AFAIK there were only two types for K100, one set for the authorities RTs and the narrower bars that were fitted to the normal sales as accessories.

I thought narrower were for naked and wider for RT, maybe RS. (But that's just a guess.)

I have had 2 types on the 84 RS...narrow ones where I could not fit small spotlights on there ( Smithy managed it ok on his RS ) and some extra wide ones which you could hang heaps of lights off ( assumed ex police) and the narrow ones come chromed or black as I have seen both.

You made me check... it seems I've got one wide pair and one narrow pair. Just to confuse, LFB has a wide one on the lhs and a narrow one on the rhs!!! In fairness, I originally had a wide pair fitted and I was completely ignorant of any other type until I crashed LFB in January. The replacement that came from Motorworks was obviously narrower than the original and since then, I've picked up another set of each type. Just In Case, you realise.
