"Got a bingle out on Broady...towies on site, but as a result it's chockers in that direction."

I can assure you, the above statement is crystal clear to any Australian.

Can those not from OZ/NZ twig to what it means?

TWB is right - crystal clear to this Aussie.

Love to see translation attempts from those without an Aussie connection. When we Aussies have had a laugh at that, I'd like to see equally obscure 'English' from non-Aussie sources to diversify the fun.

Bill

Yeah, got it fairly well, Rob. Broadmeadows...the proper response for an Aussie is by chucking a euy and fanging it out of Broadmeadows. If it's in Broady there's prolly a punch going on.

Here's another head scratcher.

"Fair dinkum, some sheila on disco bikkies ploughed into a chippie on his way from picking up smoko.
First thing the bloke did was check on the esky in the back that was loaded with tinnies for knock off after a day of hard yakka. She got out and was off her head which made him mad as a cut snake because now his ute was rooted."

Strewth, mate.

Can ya tell I'm missing OZ!?

Okay....

As it happens, some woman high on marijuana cookies hit the back of a carpenter who was buying a packet of fags (cigarettes!!!). First thing he did was to check the boot (trunk) which was loaded with tins of beer to drink after a day's hard work. She got out but being off her head made him as mad as a pit full of vipers because his pickup was now buggered.
