Hi, guys!
I was absent for a long time. I was under medical treatment after the road accident in Cherkessk (1500 km from Moscow). The car drove in the dark on my side of the road as though I wasn't there. I was saved only by equipment and the guardian angel. 
Here are some pics from this trip

That wasn't good news. How much damage was done to you and to your bike?

Not good news about the accident but you are still here to tell the story, that is the important part.

I had broken bone of the heel and instep bone. And really huge knee from a bruise. But it was amazingly small damage for this crash at high speed. After the blow I flew to a ditch and landed in grass smoothly like on a feather-bed.

This equipment was very useful to save my leg




My bike was very lucky too. It lost all its custom fairing, and has now curve handlebar and punched valve cover, and no foot rests. But all main units are in working condition. I think that I'll restore it by a new season  .
Local bikers helped me very much. I even was on bikers wedding. Joyful evolution  from ---> to






And now my bones have grown together. I can walk and I learn to run  .

Very glad to hear that you are healing well.  Hope you can get your machine back on the road again soon.  I know I really enjoy your photos.

It is amazing to see the places you visit on your bike.  I grew up during the Stalin period and still remember all the black and white propaganda movies of Russia during the 30's, 40's and 50's that showed tired people slogging through a dreary landscape.   Your photos have shown what an absolutely lovely country Russia is, and I hope some day to be able to visit.  The countryside is so familiar to where I live in New York State it is easy to see why my grandparents chose to settle here when they came over from Ukraine.

And after that was the accident


I spent a week in the chamber. I didn't have the strength to walk.





Then I got crutches and expanded my horizons 




A week later my life energy came back to me and I explored a neighborhood




During weekend bikers from Cherkessk had taken me away from hospital. It was a big present for me. I was seeing mountains and motorcycles 

I moved in the house of the leader of Cherkessk bikers club 09Legion. It was true motorcyclist house under reconstruction.





There was a small holiday in honor of the birth of owners daughter



I was living there for 3 weeks. These cats healed me 



And this apparatus in hospital helped them


I took part in the first bikers wedding in this city







And I headed to home in the van with my bike inside
