Ok, so here I was at a set of lights leading to an onramp to the HWY on my way to work. It’s a 150m straight with a nice smooth turn onto the HWY. As mentioned, I ride this way to work every day and It’s my little bit of ‘fun’ if no cars are around. A HD sportster pulls up next to me as the lights go green. Somehow he gets just enough in front of me to make it into the turn first. Usually this wouldn’t phase me at all, as my ‘racing days’ are over. But this was my little stretch…, yes I know I’m not riding an R1 anymore and I’m happy with my K’s overall performance. BUT somehow this is still bugging me 2 days later.
So, what practical options are there to squeeze a bit more out of my beloved brick?
Yes, I can ‘Ride’ and no I don’t want to turbo charge my bike; just pre-empting some responses.
