Hello,

Name is Kyle. I'm living in Brooklyn. Just picked up a 1988 k100 LT last week. Its my first bike ever. I love the thing and probably put 300 learning miles on it so far. I wanted something to get me out of the city and a good potential for a road trip back home in alabama. Although it has 150,000 miles on her, she is very mechanically sound. Aside from a few electrical speedo/gremlins im encountering, i believe it is a rock solid bike and looking forward to putting another 150k on her. Pleased to meet everyone. Godspeed.

Hi Kyle and welcome to the forum.

A good bike and you are in the right place here. Don't be afraid to ask any questions and have a read on the Portal page on the section what to do if you just bought a K.

Welcome to the forum Kyle. The best advice I can give to a new rider is to get a copy of a book called "Full Control" and read the print off the pages, it will extend and improve your love affair with your Brick.
If you need to pm me your email and I will send a copy but a quick google should get it.
