Bet that got your attention but what I really want (as against what some think I need) is a set of good condition K100RS 16V cams.

some pretty strange number there rick

im quite amazed at the late inlet opening on the k1100 ...closing seems ok though ...
although the short duration of the k1 inlet ...the opening seems about right   the exhaust looks fine

It's the reason that the K1100 doesn't have anywhere near the low down torque the K100 has and thats what is missing when I tow the trailer. I really need to work the clutch to get moving.
And according to RealOEM the AU K1100 has very different cams with a 256 overlap as to 284 for the EU models.

It's not the only difference between aussie and eu models, also ekshaust is different...both 2V and 4V.

Aussie cams is the same as US models.

Do you want to sell the cams out of your SE Laughing   But on a serious note do you know where I can get a set of the EU cams.
I could advance my inlet cam 2 teeth but then the top end will suffer very badly.

Same as?

K11 is all similar.....EU/K1 is more aggresive.
But K11 and EU/K1 with the same duration have different part #.
It seems like it's more to it than meets the eye....and you can't just throw some EU/K1 cams into your K11 that easy.

hey rick ...just thinking aloud here ....but
couldn't you redrill the dowel for the cams in the cam sprocket to be 16 degrees advanced on the inlet and 14- 16  degrees retarded on the exhaust ?whichever way round it works out anyhow ..

that might give you something better ?  with out too much playing around ?? 
just an idea

I was thinking the. same thing..duration is the same on both intake and exhaust between the two sets...

That said there is a "cafe" k1100LT on Craigslist locally and I may be suffering from KPox...

The fact that I happen to have a complete K1004v engine and tranny w/paralever that I got for my 85 K has me thinking... Especially because I have the RS 3 spokes...
