Motorcycle Sport & Leisure, July's issue, has an article on how great a bike the K100 is and what great value it is to buy. Shocked
They have reviewed a Motorsport K100RS and have lots of nice things to say about it including how you can pick a good one up for a grand and a mint one for about £1200 and they'll do hundreds of thousands of miles.

Of course, we all know this is all nonsense and what a bad bike they are, don't we? Don't we?? Our secret is out! 652573

Thanks for posting

Just checked out the online version (had to pay £2.99).

This is the SE version and if you could pick one of these up for a grand you would be doing very well. I paid £1500 for one of these about 4 years ago but sold it for €2000 to buy my K1.

Maybe the K1100 will remain a secret

There seems to be a big variation in the prices from country to country, Simon.
There was nice K1100LT went for about £2500 here in the North recently and it took a while to sell.
For the UK, I don't think those prices are too far away. You can advertise for whatever you like, but its what you actually get that matters.
Prices for bikes in the South have always been a bit higher than in the North. Maybe something to do with the initial purchase price with a higher rate of tax. The Euro can't be helping at the moment, either.
