Hi everyone,

My yellow K100RT and me got together about five years ago and we have ridden about 80.000km since then (bike just passed 150.000km). Norway, parts of England, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium all have seen this alarmingly yellow brick fly past.

Greetings from Amsterdam DSC02086

We've had some issues over the years and the bike isn't getting prettier, but it keeps on running as I drive it on a daily basis.

I hope to be able to help people here who are working on their bike as I have done a fair share of tinkering on it as well. I'm pretty sure I will be asking for advice as well.

Have a good ride and see you around here.

Best,

Ruben

Hi Ruben welcome to the asylum. That brick still looks presentable to me.

Welcome!  I just had my K100RS painted and had to decide between yellow or white.  Your bike makes me wish I had gone yellow.

Welcome Ruben.  Yes, I agree that yellow is quite nice! Probably a good choice as far as safety is concerned, being highly visible and all.

Crikey that's YELLOW  Very Happy ! I like it. Rene Z and One of the Aus members have similar coloured machines. I'm glad to see after all those travels you got sense and joined this forum, I'm sure you have many tales to tell and we like to hear them!

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome Ruben,

Great looking bike and good to hear that she is well used too. You are clearly no stranger to getting out and about for a bit of touring (I seem to recall there are not many twisty roads around Amsterdam).

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome aboard Ruben.

Our mate Rickmeister down here rides "The Yellow Peril" and his brother Tom has just had his project bike painted yellow (but he has kept it hidden thus far and we believe it's a different shade to Rick's) so you are in good kompany.

Let's hear some stories and see some photos of your travels. I'm sure you'll see some pictures of the Rickmeister machine in the next couple of weeks as we are heading off together to put a couple of thousand km under the wheels next Wednesday.

Cheers
