A 75S in Cairns.

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/parramatta-park/motorcycles/bmw-k75s-great-everyday-ride/1071301433

Looks like a post 7/91, as it has the three spoke wheels and the K1/75S mirrors.

I don't think the paint is original as I cannot find that colour on the list.  WTF do Kweenslanders repaint their bikes maroon?  One for WerewasI 8157

You're right - not a good colour. Makes it look very stodgy.

Cairns - 2000 kms?

And I've been a bad boy.

I bought this today so the dosh is all gone.

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/brisbane-city/motorcycles/moto-guzzi-v7-special-cafe-racer-naked-bike/1069716988

and I no sooner get home than i see the Mittagong cafe racer.. Waaaahhh

I could have stayed in the K camp.

I saw this V7 racer

http://www.bikesales.com.au/private/SSE-AD-2789742/2012-Moto-Guzzi-V7-Racer?cr=2&psq=(((Make%3D%5BMoto%20Guzzi%5D)%26(Model%3D%5BV7%20Racer%5D))%26(((SiloType%3D%5BDealer%20used%20bikes%5D)%7C(SiloType%3D%5BPrivate%20used%20bikes%5D))%7C(SiloType%3D%5BDemo%20%26%20near%20new%20bikes%5D)))%26(Service%3D%5BBikesales%5D)&pso=0&pss=Premium

and while the chrome tank looks great, some of the other stuff like the red frame and red wheel hubs and number thingy (you could rip that off easily) are just over the top. You might feel like a bit of a poser when you turned up for a club ride.
The V7 special was available in a black tank with that orange band - like the tanks of the S1000 (89 to 94) but i couldn't find one.

This V7 has got clip ons and good shocks and Pipemasters but they are LOUD.

Because the rain was belting down , I only had the test ride in the hotel carpark tower and the noise !!!!!!!!

I've always had a soft spot for Guzzis despite their need for more attention than lots of bikes. I rode around the states on a 1984 949 Spada  and meet the nicest Guzzisti at camps and sometimes when invited to stay in their homes. Like K sters.

So i've had to put the k75S on hold. with 9 i've got more than i can use.

Went out to Yangan two weeks ago and while they are upgrading the Legume road, it's still very rough in parts but the K RS ride is magnificent. I can't even do it on the NC Honda - the brutal kicks shag your back.

Is that color possibly Mystic Red?  I know that my bike never photographs with accurate color.  It can look like anything from cherry red to reddish brown depending on the lighting.

Not Mystic Red, as my 75C original colour code is Mystic Red but has been repainted maroon.  Possibly to hide the dodgy repair to the leaking fuel tank.  From what I have seen of Mystic Red, it has a tendency to fade and I think that is probably why there are so few around, as their owners tend to repaint them.

can you tell me what colour this is.

No paint code number under seat so it may be re paint.

is actually a bit more orangey than this.

One for WerewasI _2023

this is the MG Spada I rode in the US (but no longer have).

Those round rocker covers are the most beautiful of any Guzzi. Much nicer than the V7 ones.

This is a bike I wish i'd kept.

Probably 643 Marakesh Red or maybe 632 Henna Red but the KRS did not come in either of these colours.  The red listed for KRS is 575 Metallic Red which is the original colour of my 75C.

Repaints are normally pretty obvious.
